An Underground Castle – Cave Baredine

Istria is a region rich in pits, caves, and other natural wonders. One of the most famous caves is Baredine, which is located near Poreč, on the Istrian West coast. The cave is 66-meter deep, it has five galleries filled with abstract sculptures. In the deepest gallery you may see olms, also called “human fish”, endemic animals to be found in the karst environment only.
